Lightning Baseball

About Us

Lightning Baseball is teaching the finer points of the game, but just as important, it is about using baseball as a vehicle to develop great young student athletes into men that will be outstanding leaders, community contributors, respectful teammates, lifelong friends, hopefully collegiate student/athletes and more. Although our Fall academy is the backbone of our program, we also focus on individual lessons, group/team lessons, competitive summer teams, camps and more.

We have the most highly qualified coaching staff in Colorado. Over 90% of our staff played at the NCAA Division I level and/or Professionally. We have nearly 50 coaches available to us and we utilize them all to maintain a remarkable player/coach ratio. All of these men are quality individuals that have a desire to give back. We access that entire staff to allow us to teach, lead and develop our student athletes. Although it takes talent to play at the collegiate level as these coaches did, it also takes a commitment to the classroom and we carry that forward.

Fall Academy occurs over 10 weekends in August, September and October. We use that time to teach in great detail how to play baseball, as well as how to approach the game - with confidence, commitment, ownership, character, effort, and more. We do this through a well thought out, and executed, detailed plan with an unbeatable player/coach ratio.

One on one personal instruction: We only have one level of instruction and that is with top tier instructors. Baseball players that not only played at a high level, but also hit with great success at the collegiate and professional levels. All of our instruction is done with live video analysis and HitTrax technology.
